As much as parents/carers are keen to hear about your child’s development at pre-school, we are always keen to hear about your child’s development at home. This can often be used by the key person to extend and challenge children at pre-school.
Please make use of the forms ‘My child has learnt something new...’ which are available from your key person and are regularly attached to newsletters. Your key person may also send home for you ‘How you can support your child...’ we appreciate your time to work with children and feedback on progress. Achievements are discussed at circle time and form part of the Learning Journey.
Our Highworth Pre-School Teddies take a journey home with each child at least once during the year, to join in your home activities and then we can share this with the children at circle time and form part of the Learning Journey.
Wow Moments - these can be moments from home you want to share with pre-school or Wow moments the children have had at pre-school. These achievements are discussed at circle time and form part of the Learning Journey. So please keep your key person up to date on those special moments.
A two way partnership is very important for the best Early Years Outcome for your child.
