We would ask that parent/carers advise the pre-school if a child is not able to attend.
Pre-School follows the advice of the Health Protection Agency regarding exclusion and this is outlined in our Infection Control Policy. We do not provide care for children who are unwell, have a temperature, or sickness and diarrhoea, conjunctivitis or who have an infectious disease. You will be required to keep your child off pre-school for exclusion periods as listed in policy. We ask that you keep your child away from pre-school for 48 hours after the last episode of any sickness.
Staff will be happy to administrator prescribed medication once a medication form has been signed by parents. We cannot administer over the counter medication ie. Calpol.
Parents/Carers of children attending pre-school don’t need to request approval for holiday’s taken outside of normal school holiday periods. We do however politely request that you complete the notification of holidays form in advance. This is for our information only so we are aware why and when children will not be attending pre-school.
As above this is for our information only.
